Our roots

Three generations, one promise.

Long before there was a brand called Jars of Jain, there was a family kitchen where recipes were shared, perfected, and passed down. Every jar is our way of carrying that story forward and keeping that promise alive.

The journey

Every family has that one recipe.

The one everyone asked for. The one that disappeared . The one that somehow tasted better at home. This is the story of ours.

  1. 1970s

    A Grandmother's Kitchen

It all started in a small kitchen in Bhopal, where our grandmother would wake before dawn to roast spices on a clay stove. The aroma would fill the entire neighbourhood — a silent invitation that needed no words. Her hands knew the perfect pinch, the right moment to stir, the patience to let flavors bloom.

  2. 1990s

    Recipes Become Rituals

As children, we sat cross-legged on the kitchen floor, watching our mother replicate those same recipes with the same devotion. Festival mornings meant hand-rolling mathris while sharing stories. Every Sunday meant slow-frying banana chips until they turned to golden perfection. These weren't just snacks — they were how our family said "I love you."

  3. 2005

    From Home to Your Home

When friends and family began asking us to share our homemade treasures, we realized these flavors deserved to travel beyond our kitchen. Jars of Jain was born — not as a business, but as a promise: to preserve the authenticity our grandmother taught us, one small batch at a time. Every jar we seal carries her blessing.

  4. Today

    Your Story Meets Ours

Twenty years later, the kitchen is bigger, but the heart is the same. We still roast spices by hand. We still count every jar. We still believe that food made with love tastes different — because it does. When you open a Jar of Jain, you're not just tasting a snack. You're tasting a family's love letter to tradition.

What we won't compromise

Four promises we never break.

  • Handcrafted, Always

Every jar is prepared by hand, never on a production line.

  • Honest Ingredients

Carefully chosen ingredients. Nothing artificial. Nothing unnecessary.

  • Freshly Prepared

Made in small batches, so every jar reaches you fresh.

  • Tradition Before Shortcuts

Three generations of recipes, preserved with care.

"Not just snacks, but memories you can taste, A taste that takes you back to simpler, happier days."
